Editorial Policy
These rules apply to every writer, editor and page on Lorem City Guides. Version 3.1, adopted in 2025.
We visit and we pay
Writers visit every place they recommend, pay for their meals and tickets, and do not tell the venue who they are.
No superlatives we cannot prove
We do not call anything the best in the city unless we can show how we compared it. We avoid guarantees of any kind.
Paid content is labelled
Sponsored stories and paid placements are marked as sponsored at the top of the page. Advertisers do not see stories before they publish.
Corrections
We fix mistakes quickly and add a dated note saying what changed. Write to editor@loremcityguides.xyz.
Reader privacy
We ask permission before publishing a reader name, photo or locality, and we do not publish personal money details.
