The bracket figures on the outer pillars and the carving inside the hall are some of the finest Kakatiya work anywhere.
Getting there
Palampet is a little over an hour from Warangal. From Hyderabad, plan for about four hours each way, or stay a night in Warangal.
Tips
This is a working temple. Remove shoes, dress modestly and go early to avoid the heat.
